*The scene opens up in the Johnstown city park. The sun beats down and the air is crisp; free of humidity. Children nearby play in the sprinklers and purchase ice cream from the ice cream truck with quarters and dimes. Everybody seems to be in a good mood, except for one man. Bob Oberman sits on a park bench in the shade, beneath an oak tree. He rests his head on his hands, with a depressed expression. Bob looks up and sighs, looking into the camera with sad, baggy eyes.*
"It's been years. Years since I've ever seen any sort of success. I've battled my whole life with a curse and a chip my my shoulder. It's a burden that has been on my back for decades. But now I'm getting older, and it's time to think about when it's going to end."
*Bob arises from the bench and stares into the camera, with a sudden spark of passion.*
"Halo, this Sunday, things are going to change for me. This Sunday, I am going to prove to everybody that I'm more than a washed up man, still clawing up at the bottom of the pole of success."
*A sudden aurora of rage bursts from Bob. His eyes fiery and grey.*
"I'm about to be evicted from my apartment, Halo! I've been living off of tuna fish and Kool Aid until I finally found this job at Crazy Fun Time! You don't know what it's like to be a loser... Oh, but you will Halo! Mark my words: You will.
*Bob darts out of the scene, as it fades out to black.*
